Who Plans When On A Roadtrip?!

Leanne and I had no plans for our Easter vacation and really wanted to go on holiday together, but we'd been saying that for a while.  So what did we do?  We actually got out bums into gear and decided to go to Cape Town togther.  However this was merely a week before we were meaning to go, thus it wouldn't be a suprise that just one day before we were planning to leave we still did not have accomodation and didn't have the finances to go to a backpackers.  Eventually we found a place with a distant relative of Leanne's and we were able to hitch a ride with friends too (though the car window shattered on the way back  just to ensure the adventure had as strong a finish as it started).

Our trip was spectacular!  We had no transport so had to hitch a lift with

friends or, at times, with strangers or just walk.  And mind you Cape Town is no small place.  More than once were utterly lost.  We had no plans, generally because we couldn't organise transport in advance, and most of our friends were out of town so everything we did had to be spontaneous and accompanied by new acquaintances.  Who's complaining?
