Aimee's 21st

For Aimee's 21st; Carms, Ash and I kidnapped her for an early morning breakfast at Kenton beach. All she knew was to keep Sunday morning open and to maybe pack a costume. It was a beautiful morning, with the beach practically empty besides ourselves. After a delicious fruit salad and tuna sandwhich breakfast we all crashed on the sand for an hour or two enjoying the company and soaking up a little too much sun.

The drive back from Grahamstown with Brigette and her dog Lucy. Reunion with Xavier. Stokers with British James as he explores Durban. Washing the dogs. A Christmas evening at Amy’s house, which almost turned into a backstreet boys karaoke stunt. Brian’s youth braai. Corbin’s high school makeover. A night out with Luke and his girlfriend at an awkwardly empty bar. New Years with Callie, Amy and Scott. Cultural day with Mom and aunty Lu where we hopped from one art gallery to another and stopped for lunch at the quirky antique store Churchill’s House. Tea with Lauren, Karin and Michael; using them to test out the days baking. And lastly, Corbin’s golfing entourage: Maradonna and the dogs.

Finding my Dream Farm!

Dad took Gags and her friend June, Aunty Lorraine, Corbs and myself on a beautiful holiday in the Freestate, to the Kiara resort nestled at the base of the Maluti mountain range connecting Clarens and the Golden Gate Reserve. We were also lucky enough to be situated next door to Bergwoning adventures; a farm providing horse rides, quadbiking, abseiling, mountain trails etc. Oh and did I fall in love with that farm?! I never thought I would say this in my lifetime but I really want to return to the Freestate! Clarens is very quaint with too many art galleries to count and the Maluti mountain range is just majestic! Our holiday was a very relaxing one though at the same time physically exhausting - if that makes sense?! You must see from my photo's just how much I loved the terrain haha they are pretty much all landscapes.. It's a great area for hiking!
